MGL Telecoms has become the preferred satellite communications provider to Jet City Rescue, Essendon Airport, Melbourne, Australia.  Jet City's Avionics Manager, Travis Stephens acknowledged MGL's excellent service and support for a vital aviation tool.  In fact, they cant take off without it!!

Jet City Rescue provides rapid response patient transport from locations in the asia pacific region direct to waiting Ambulance staff for direct transport to hospital emergency wards.  Using an Iridium 9555 with a BEAM SDG Satdock, integrated into the cockpits central console, the crew can use their normal flight headsets to make a call 'in flight' to alert ground crews of ETA's and patient status reports.

In coming months MGL Telecoms will take Jet City Rescue into the next level with a BEAM LeoTRAK cloud technology tracking solution, which will provide real time aircraft tracking/trace and telemetry direct to ground controllers and hospital staff.  Hospital emergency wards can then check through the LeoTRAK cloud technology to see the ETA of the aircraft and provide valuable 'operating theatre' preparation times, which will ultimately save lives.

Jet City Rescue is based at Essendon Airport in Victoria, Australia and operate a fleet of Jet Aircraft including Lear 35A & 36A.
